Sunny and 13 at just before noon. Winds keeping things cooler today, and will shift to northeasterly this evening to really keep things cold tomorrow and potentially Wednesday, with temperatures likely struggling to break 10.

EDIT: PS, it's officially cherry blossom season in St. John's.

The river forecast centre for Alberta Also has flood and high stream flow warnings out for the whole south have of the province. The rain and the snow melt should combine for some interesting flows.

Flood watch for the Bow from Banff to Ecshaw. Some flooding above Calgary into Glenmore.

Red Deer Rive upstream has flood warnings. North Sask has High Stream flow warnings right through Edmonton.

Walked by the Bow yesterday and it was high, but not worrisome... mind you most of the rain thus far was Exshaw east.

Much snow still to melt at elevation though; expect this to change, especially if we saturate things.

Out for a walk last evening, before the thunder storms hit. This was from in St Albert AB along the Redwillow Trail system.

I see those same blooms each spring at Rondeau Provincial Park. Very striking flower, I believe it's a type of honeysuckle.

13.2c and soggy today. All round gross day.

Much of the same tomorrow before back to seasonal by Thursday.

Our 14 day outlook is all below average for this time of year but one day. Been quite the cool Spring. Stark contrast to last Spring/Early Summer.

23C with a humidex of 25 and mainly sunny. Not bad, not bad. Although I have to admit, there was a little breeze that was too much for my liking.

Low of 16C this morning.

The warmspot was Gretna, MB at 29.7C.

Yes those are Alberta wild roses. The white clusters are Highbush cranberries. The small white ones are Canada Violet, The small yellow are a Alcoli Buttercup.To the last one is a twinning honeysuckle.

3C in my backyard. Can hardly see across the street on the front of the house, but much less fog in the back thus far. Fog horns are wailing. I love it, except for the temperature haha.

Cloudy and 5 at 10am. Pretty foggy downtown today too. Easterly flow will keep things ultra cool today and tomorrow before breaking.

14C and still raining in Moncton at 10 AM. Rain all day with a high of only 19C, but it is very humid out, so it feels warmer than that.

More rain this weekend, which is unfortunate as the World Highland Games Championships are being held in the city this weekend.

Big white got 15cm of snow last night, potentially more today.

Creeks around Okanagan Lake here in town are starting to breach their banks. Could be an interesting few days ahead.

Indeed... especially considering how much snowpack is still up there and needing to come down as well. Part of the issue in 2013 was that we had a week of ground saturating rain and then warm weather and a significant melting period with no where for it to go.

Its not looking great for this weekend. Have to ride in a charity bike ride at Invermere, the ride eventually goes up the 20km climb to Panarama. Forecast says 19 and 60% chance of rain. which means 100% and snow on the climb. The climb is tough enough but add rain and cold. And with the rain I will have to watch my speed down. Last time I hit 85kph.

North Sask river in Edmonton is starting to rise. Less of Accidental beach is showing. But on my project site the standing water was much less than expected. so maybe we need this good soaking rain.

27C with a humidex of 29 and sunny today. Decent day. However, it's another day where the stats will actually not tell the full story. It was below 23-24C for the most of the day until 4PM where the temperature shot up above 25C for 2 brief hours. It was already below 25C (24.9C) at 6PM.

Low of 14C this morning. Pretty typical.

The warmspot was Kelsey Dam, MB at 29.0C.
