Also saw this, but couldn't really tell what it was through the wrapping. I thought it was either parts of the facade or HVAC pieces.

Why has the tower portion stalled over the last few weeks. Is this on hold now. I see no reason why the core isnt rising.

It isn't stalled at all. They're been actively working on it 6 days a week.

Literally in the time between when pianowizard posted pictures and when I posted pictures, the core rose three floors.

Until I get the opportunity to see this in person instead of from across the river, I feel like I'm underestimating the true size of the Block portion of this development.

This thing looks like it has a huge footprint compared to most of the other buildings downtown.

You are absolutely correct, and in fact I had been meaning to point this out earlier: the Block looks much, much larger in person than one could possibly tell from photos, especially when viewed from the roofs of the nearby parking structures. It's truly an impressive sight.

Even without the Tower, the Block alone would still be a great addition to the city, and I so look forward to admiring the finished product. I visited Windsor about five years ago and while there, I took a photo of the Detroit skyline. When this project is done, I should do that again.

Parts of the facade and glass are up, I guess that's what you tried to post here?

Facade is indeed going up. East side of the Block. Taken by me June 5th.

Also a bit of brick going up around the entrance to the underground garage on the southeast side of the Tower.

The other side more or less unchanged.
