It looks like Cleveland has the same deep bedrock as other great lakes cities.

yes unfortunately its deep to bedrock downtown, but on the positive side not so in the traditional second downtown of university circle area where the land rises just to the east and the bedrock is close at hand. developers and the clinic are starting to take more notice of this and things are picking up there.

You never see day-glo anymore. Have you noticed that? It used to be on bus ad's, billboards, bumper stickers, t-shirts... Up until probably the late 80's/early 90's? Likely a combination of full color printing capabilities/economics and maybe something toxic the EPA didn't care for.

ha yeah you are probably right.

that's why we are getting staid sherwin-williams paint hq instead of a dayglo hq, which you know would be far groovy-er. that's ok.

but dayglo is definitely still around, with its big factory hq in midtown cleveland.
it is still used for plenty of things like school busses, military, packaging, reflective clothing for construction and for makeup, etc..
