Hey; these heights are estimated so what is the likelihood these 2 towers could be taller?

Drove by the site yesterday and saw what looked like soil-testing equipment on site — Lombard side, after the intersection.

Oh wow. Amazing. I didn’t think we’d hear about this one for awhile.

My stage hand and ticketing friends from the Suzanne Roberts theater take their smoke breaks while looking directly at the site. They use the side door (near the Billie Holiday historic plaque). I will ask them to give me updates, which knowing how often they smoke, could be hourly.

Just saw on an Instagram story that the site work is getting a little deeper with excavators and drills on site. This will be interesting seeing it blend in with the Philly skyline from some of my NJ views

TK - did you mean the Broad and Washington project? I didn’t think work started on this project yet.

Yes. We haven't seen a CDR Submission yet and this hasn't gone to the planning commission or ZBA (if necessary) yet either. Still a proposal.

Even on the shorter end, I love these. I'd love to see a second tower canyon going up Broad.

Shorter towers can be stunners too - looking at you, Riverwalk.

So since this is a proposal from Goldenberg, I suspect maybe something will go up by 2030... Unless Virgin corporate really pushes for a Philadelphia hotel, then maybe it will wake up Goldenberg to actually develop something...

You simply can't wish a Goldenberg Group project into existence by posting articles and renderings. If this happens in the next decade, or even at all, I'd be shocked.

I give it a 3% chance. Goldenberg blows.
