Man oh man, what an insane 24 hours it has been. Was near Mont-Tremblant for the weekend and we got hit by THE MOST INSANE STORM I HAVE EVER SEEN Saturday afternoon. 10% of the trees are down in the area (including one that fell on two of my friends car. We had 5 cars in total, 2 got hit. Power was out of course and judging by the number of trees fallen on electric poles, power would be out for a while. Returned to Montreal and we had to wait 4 hours at the gas station for the generator to arrive (we were driving on empty so no choice really). Nothing in a radius of 100 km works.
Here is some pics and a short video. Keep in mind the video was shot when the storm was beginning. Things got even worst afterwards but wanted to get away from windows so stopped filming.
Sorry for the f bombs, what started out as fun storm watching turned serious as trees started falling down.
