I think “dense urban setting” is more what he meant. But is that really where the Windsor-Riverside weather station is? It looks like a strange place to run a weather station.

What is the brand of your station?
Can you take some pictures?
What weather data does it record?

worked a little harder to get the planting and gardens done before it rained. Pond is up and running and I hope we did not scare the frog away. Now to sit back and watch the gardens grow. And the rain that was supposed to hit is now 30% chance. So watering before the game tonight.

Man that’s a pretty high tech device. I do have an interest in weather to some extent, but this may be a bit much too much for my needs.

It's too much for mine too - I don't give a fuck about the barometric pressure, wind, rain, etc. But I do want something accurate that all the local weather nerds know they can trust to reflect the temperature downtown, haha.

In my mind, it leads to me being interviewed by the local meteorologist. And he takes off his shirt. It's gonna be great.

My main draw to this unit was the radiation shield over the temperature and humidity sensors. That'll help a lot with getting actual good temperature data out of the unit. Otherwise you're just another person with a 20 dollar thermometer on their back deck, screaming about how its 35 degrees when it's really 20 degrees.

lol what a weird weather day. Rainy and cold for most of the day, but the sun just came out and really warmed everything up. It was 7 degrees at 3pm, and now its 15 degrees at 5:30 lol.

Proof from the super duper weather station data or it didn’t happen.

Unsettled. Cool for the seasonal normal of 20C.

16 13 8 11 14 18 20

May be frost or snow on a few of those nights. Don't plant anything until the May long weekend here.

I don't have mine yet. I'm guessing I'll have it set up either Monday or Tuesday, right around the same time as SHH.

17C and sunny. Was not very pleasant because of the breeze.

Low of 7C this morning... chilly.

The warmspot was Fincastle, AB at 22.1C.

Yep, here are the coordinates of the weather station.

Copy and paste to Google and that's the location it gives you. Weather station on a balcony maybe?

We had a huge wind storm in Victoria today. It was a challenge at times working in it. I drove to a customer's house this evening and they had Cedar Hill Xrd closed off due to a fallen tree and power lines. Took a quick photo...

Spectacular morning - very bright and strong sun, windows open.

EDIT: It's now cloudy and cool and I've closed all the windows lol 7:30 a.m. at least it was nice while it lasted haha.

EDIT 2: Sun mostly came back. Still lots of cloud but I mean a solid 50% of the sky is blue.
