Interesting The billionaire’s mom was born Maye Halderman on April 19, 1948, in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and her family moved to Pretoria, South Africa when she was a toddler in 1950. Maye described her parents as “very famous“ and, they flew around the world in a prop plane in 1952. So it seems like taking to the skies, has always run in Elon’s blood. Was born In Regina e

Well, they once proposed to move into the Rose and Hamilton tower they were proposed to build. Also Brandt Industries is within the City Limits on the West side, although it would not have been when it was built. Also I believe the patriarch Gavin Semple still lives in the City.

Brandt and the Semples are a perfect example of millionaires exploiting an urban centre any way they can and then paying back as little as possible. They get the benefit of an educated, diverse population without the need to pay into part of the system that created them. I have no sympathy for them at all.

It's already a fantastic park that is heavily used, my wife and I love to walk/run the path that exists. The major downside is the stretch of sidewalk (that is broken) on the south side of the park, and it sounds like this will replace that with a similar path to the rest of the park.

All I want is for the city to continue the multi-use pathway along south Pasqua all the way to the bike path by the airport (I will also accept them making a MUP along Hill ave & connecting to Albert St instead).

All I want is for some vision and regional planning where we start to think longer-term about connecting the MUP to Sherwood Forest and eventually into the Valley. What a recreational asset that would be.

Harbour Landing has some pretty good MUP but they don't connect to anything else. The pathways along the Pilot Butte Creekway are great and they added a nice extension to get to UPD from the path in the last couple of years. Really, I'd like to see a MUP down the side of Arcola; stretch it out to the Creeks and all the way up to the Arcola Bridge at Ring Road. Get those bikes out of the Arcola traffic.

Brandt is outside city limits.

The borders specifically curl around their facility so they're still in the RM

On my MUP wish list.

A bridge from just north of Arcola with a path through Harding Park to Harding Street. Biking on Truesdale sucks, really too narrow for there to be parking on both sides. And most of the time the lights at Arcola don't detect cyclists. Though looking at my picture they could add an MUP connecting Harding and the 2 bays without a bridge by connecting to the path at Truesdale, there is enough room beside the sidewalk for a path or they could double the width of the sidewalk for that short section at the culverts.

Path under Ring Road near Assiniboine, south of the Cemetery over to the south MUP with a branch heading over to Sask Poly. I can't believe they didn't build a path under those bridges when they had the creek diverted and drained the entire summer 2 years ago.

I went out the the GTH tonight and saw that the Cargill crushing plant construction is underway. Several dozen double stacked construction trailers out there. Pile drilling started. And it looks like the ground is being prepped for the rail loop.

SaskPower's Regina consolidation facility is also being built beside the crushing plant.

Speaking of that area near Ring Rd, whatever happened to the idea/plan to extend and connect Prince of Wales south to Wascana Parkway?

A game-changer for animals': Regina Humane Society breaks ground on new animal care centre
The total project cost is $28 million, with most of the bill being paid by donors. Sylvia Aumuller passed away in 2009. The welfare of animals, specifically cats, was her passion. RHS honoured her estate donation of $1.4 million by naming the adoption atrium in her name.

The connection of PoW to the Regina Bypass seems like it would be a colossal waste of $, especially if a grad separation were built.
