I was just thinking the same thing

But it is a pretty amazing shot. Due to Ottawa's table top and extremely dense core it's very hard to visualize the city from anything other than an aerial shot. This should now be the template for all "future Ottawa" renderings.

The past 3 weeks has show us that nothing is really illegal in Ottawa.

There is a channel on youtube that has been flying a drone all over downtown during the last few weeks, well into class F, don't think theres many ways for them to really enforce that.

Remember when the guy that flew a drone over the Raptor's parade made international news for being an idiot? Apparently anything goes these days.

In the winter photo, if you download the full high-res version from Planet, you can see all the ridiculous truckers blocking our streets.

Great finds! Thanks for sharing.

I love the 3rd one, highlights the density but empty hole that is Lebreton.

Wonder what the 2nd picture was, Ribfest or something? September 2020...

Forgot to add the link to that second picture.

If it's related to the Tweet, it would have been for a firearms right group protest against the Governments ban on automatic weapons who greatly exaggerated the size of the crowd (kind of like Trump's inauguration and the trucker occupation).

Posted for the image, not the political message.

Amazing shot! Just imagine how it will look in only a few years with M+M, LeBreton, Gladstone Village, a few more at Dow's Lake and maybe Bayview.

I quickly (very quickly) approximated just a few of the planned towers in this shot I made for the Canada forum.
