This looks like The Well in Toronto. It was windy as hell a few days ago and this happened:

Hmm, the grass looks a little too green for a few days ago. It does look like the Well.

Cracked windows taped together is fairly common

I'm surprised they were operating the crane that day.

We would have to confer with the "bros" in the condo next over to confirm.

I looked up Concord's big podium status instead. Yeah, could be the last few days. My grass is still yellow.

Montreal's tallest residential tower outside downtown is now under construction

Symphonia Viu (145 meters - 43 stories) on Nun's Island.

It will be the second tallest building outside downtown after the Olympic Tower.

75 James Street South is going to be a beast of a building. It's basically three buildings into one.

Technically site prep but exciting enough to share - work underway at the former Coast Guard site and surrounding public space in Saint John:

Are there any height limits on Nun's Island? They should let them build taller then the mountain here.

I know the North part of the island just recently got capped to 79 metres max, South side not too sure, but I know there's another 144 metre tall tower proposed (but got delayed cause nimby's). Definitely won't see anything taller than the "mountain" tho.

How much space is left on Nuns island for new towers once Evolo and Symphonia are completed?

The city wants to further densify the island to take full advantage of the REM station, but the islanders are agressive NYMBYs, so the future developpements will be mid-rises mostly. That 43 stories tower under construction will be the last tall tower.

I guess there are the commercial blocks. Do you see the townhomes, etc being bought up and redeveloped?

That would be surprising. I know they want to redeveloped some one or two stories commercial buildings.

This is the new plan adopted by the city in 2020 for all the sector around the REM STATION, including the part where the Evolo towers are build. As you can see, nothing will be more than 78 meters. It's clearly not ambitious enough in my opinion.
