what do you expect people to do? they suffer through a 1hr commute on a good day, then these extortionists decide to block 6 of the 9 lanes to get around. so now theyre stuck for 4hrs while the cops stand around doing nothing most of the time.
this then happens over and over and over. they're criminals and they're trying to use extortion to get what they want. people have shown a great amount of
restraint with dealing with these extortionists. they've been doing this multiple times. eventually people are going to get fed up, and i am glad they finally are.
i am also glad the cops are actually starting to clear these extortionists up in a more timely manner then they did previously.
if you want the government to do something, you protest it at the government buildings or you petition for a new government. you DO NOT use extortion and threats to cripple the working of the region and cause numerous ripple effects to other lives.

As others said, would you be so blasé if your surgery was delayed or cancelled because the surgeon was delayed 4 hours waiting for police to clear these people? It’s very telling these eco-thugs don’t care about people getting to work, as they don’t seem to.

very true. there are so many impacts of these extortionists that most dont think about. its a ripple effect for sure.
imagine someone took the morning off from work to wait for some repairman. now he cant come in the morning because of the extortionists. so he says either afternoon or another day.
so now you've lost out on $$$ at your job for no reason, and will need to do it AGAIN. many people live paycheque-paycheque here. this could very well be a very real scenario as well.
they got away with their extortion long enough, its time to put an end to this.
