I am sure many of us would gladly help them out. Esp. with the old Zellers plot on James and the plot beside the Pigott building. Those beg to have something classy built to reflect the buildings beside or across from them.
I do have one beef with core urban and this is just more of a personal stylistic beef - I feel with their neo-victorian styling that they play it a bit too.. safe with their new designs - like it's mostly just geometric shapes - I would like to see say more elaborate cornices - like the royal connaught - more curves and accents and details - but that's just me. Like with the white building above - it's nice don't get me wrong - but they played it safe. The bannistered railing is really the most detailed part of it at the top. I do like that element - bannistered top accents are always pretty
Back in the day each architect had a creative statement to make with their design - I'd like to see us go back to that - where each building is unique in its own way and not cookie cutter. Not that this is cookie cutter, but I feel they could still go one step higher imo esp. with the jutout semicircular awnings above the windows at top - they're kinda plain.
