I think it makes a lot of sense to be honest. It's not the tallest tower and it's in a pretty desirable spot so I would say it's more than likely that something gets built behind it.

Looks great! Looms much larger than it actually is. Just have to get it some neighbors on those surface lots (unless there is concern about ruining the view

Agreed. I drove near this yesterday, and the photos--as good as they are--just don't convey how much of an impact this makes in person at street level.

I agree. From my perspective, it's not bad at all.

There are many valid complaints with new/modern building practices but the partial blank wall is not one of them....I mean, look at PSFS which is lauded but is a terrible offender in that regard.

That's some dream world! That would mean that Philadelphia enters NYC territory - no surface lots or low rise buildings and the demand warrants the replacement of perfectly adequate 60 year old office buildings. That would be something!

New York has no low-rise buildings?

I don't see anything wrong with taller more admirable buildings replacing surface lots and some of the dowdy buildings along Market Street. Or at least re-skinning and overbuilds. Not exactly equivalent to leveling Spruce Street for high-rises...
