I highly doubt the rents will reflect the basic design and materials.

If this was subsidized housing or offering rents much lower than the average rents around town, I'd understand.

But the sad part is, these units will still be very expensive and unaffordable to most.

I love the random beige cross here in the second photo. Very odd design choice.

That being said.. they sure are moving along quickly here. This project was below grade early last summer. I guess it's easy when you copy paste.



Surprised how much more prominent it is compared to the Horizon tower? I think that's what it's called. That building always seemed so massive to me when I was a kid. I suppose it still is.

This photo was taken from the West LRT platform. I'm guessing you won't really see the second tower as it is directly behind it along Chapel.

You can't upload a photo, you have to link it from another site. I upload my shots to Flickr because the share button lets you easily export to bbcode and resize for the forum.

Edit: Flickr seems to be whitelisted at everyone's workplace, but Imgur is blocked for some, especially federal government employees.

This is one sad looking building. I swear the bizarre looking white crosses in the brickwork are actually subtle symbolic middle finger 'F-U's' from the architect to this forum.
