Also i noticed fencing and signs displaying Kerkoff construction site across from downtown YMCA and just behind The Madison, I couldn’t find anything online using that site, isn’t their 41 story proposal across the street on the east side of the YMCA?

Really wish Bernard Block didn't have several stories of parkade fronting main street. No matter how it's dressed up it is a poor design and use of space in my opinion.

Such a geographically blessed city. It just looks damn good, and has heaps of potential to build out into a provincial #2.

It's great too see the wide range of density. The proliferation of mid-rise is an underreported piece of Kelowna's boom.

Wonderful picks, a big feather in Kelowna’s cap is the second earliest spring in Canada (after the B.C. south coast).

Also love seeing some lighting effects on the Bernard project!

I think the capital pouring into the City is going to decide that for the provincial leadership.

That said - I don't think the second bridge is happening in our lifetime.

That would mean a future BC government would have to be willing to do a major highway expansion project through the core of a BC City.

I seriously doubt this ever happening for too many reasons to list.

Took a drive through downtown today. Lots going on.
- The Water Street by the Park project has pretty much demolished Leon, only the Boyd building left to come down.
- The Bertram tower is starting on 2nd floor
- The Block office tower still on grade but getting ready for some column pour soon I think
- Fencing at the Monaco site( St.Paul & Doyle) by Kerkhoff. Looks to be prep for soil testing or some temporary structure. This is actually very promising as the property is directly across from the new UBCO campus. I remember when this project failed to start and the land was sold off for about $6M (correct me if I'm wrong), most thought the land value was way overpriced at that time. Ahh..hindsight. Guess we will have to wait and see if a proposal comes through in the near future.

I am actually starting to wonder if Kerkhoff is building a new sales center on Doyle/St. Paul for the 35 story building at 1405 St. Paul. The area fenced off is kitty corner to their new tower.

Its about half way through Development process so timing of constructing a sales center may make sense with the DP process. Their website lists it as construction to start 2022.

Altho0ugh I am a little confused, there are a couple different designs for this tower.

Yeah, the updated design is still okay (also 110m just fyi) but having seen the prior proposal, disappointing.

Does anyone know what's going up at the site across from Orchard Park Mall at the old School District 23 building? I haven't heard about any more towers going up there, so I'm curious as to what's being built.
