Is there by any chance a new or current rendering for this project?

Then I came back in 2003 and had to rejoin for some reason. I think Dylan had gotten a new hosting service or something. Anyway, good to have you back under your new, non-ridiculously stupid, name.

It looks pretty similar - just changed a little. Bonus density will put it at 804', not 802'

Is there a rendering you can share? The one way have is poor quality and looks more like a place holder.

Also, can you confirm the hotel brand as Ritz-Carlton?

It's the internet, no worries.

Interesting. Others on the site have the Ritz brand headed for the the super tall at 98 Red River. With the ground breaking for the super tall scheduled for April things should become clearer as to which brand will be part of that development.

And the Fairmont.

I'm also one of those guys. Everything I've heard says the Ritz deal died last year, hasn't been revived, and that nothing will happen with the Travis II site until Travis I is completed.

The other 1 Hotel at 98...however, is definitely alive and kicking.

The news on the Ritz should be out by next week, if not the end of this week.

This thread is getting confusing. I deleted some posts, and move posts related to the Hotel 1 speculation to the 98 Red River thread.

If this really is it . . . I kinda love it. Much improved over what we saw before. Both towers complement one another . . . and kinda look badass. Sleek. 98 RR is going to CRAZY and whackadoo next to these two.

I really like it. It gives me similar vibes to the Seaholm tower, just vertically stretched.

If that is really the new version...I love it compared to the old one.

However, without any confirmation that this is the new version and that this project is moving forward with the new design, I'll withhold my excitement...for a bit.

Oh what a nice change from the previous rendering. Two building that relate to each other and are attractive. I look forward to more renderings. That's when a more formal critique can be given. Regardless; what a tall and handsome skyline Austin has in the making!
