With Brandts recent aqiustion of Cervus, I would suspect now the 1000 jobs regina was supposed to get are off the table.
The city of regina just lost 2 of its top ranking city officials with no official reason being give. I suspect there is something going on behind the scenes at city council. I voted for Sandra Masters and she has completely under delivered so far.

I mean, they could lease literally any other building in Regina that isn't on the corner of Broad and 14th. I get they were in a pinch when their old building started crumbling but this argument is ridiculous.
I used to donate to CNIB but after looking over their charity and financial audits, they only spend about $0.43 for every $1 donated on programming. Maybe if they decided to get rid of the bloat, they could find themselves a nice space in Regina. They serve a very important role for the visually impaired and I'd love for them to have a nice, modern space for their services but saying the only options are "Wascana Park or SUPER BUSY, DANGEROUS intersection" isn't great.

Friend, and neighbour (since you mentioned you also live in Lakeview,) I like the passion and generally agree on many of your political stances. However, we differ on how to conduct ourselves on this forum. I may not be a seasoned vet like many of the posters here, but I'd ask that you refrain from name calling and the constant corporate bashing is tiring to read. I get it, you don't like Brandt. Here's the thing: in a North American-style capitalist society, if it's not Brandt it's just someone else selling tractors, schmoozing our government officials, and wanting to build revenue properties on pubic land for as cheap as possible. This is the last I'll speak of this but let's focus on the construction side of things and keep fiery politics for Reddit.
