I was there today and noticed some of the units have people living in them now. So move-ins have started.

The land cost on this from a decade ago, combined with the absurd unit costs in Brentwood, I would love to see the numbers on tower 3 and 4.
I still remember the marketing for the first Solo tower, they marketed it as the most affordable condo in Burnaby. I think that was likely after the 2008 recession. Times have changed...

Thank you - I actually did know that, but I just call it all BOSA for ease of conversation.

I do understand that this is not correct, technically.

The upper floor loft units in Stratus are some of the best/most appealing high rise units built in Metro Van in the last decade.

Solo4 started selling. Looks like it’ll sell out in a week or less.

My realtor said starting prices for 1 bedrooms are mid $750k. It seems presales have gotten hot again.

He also mentioned Brentwood Tower 5 1 bedroom is starting at $750k and the Concord Oasis project in Brentwood is also starting at $750k (with no parking and no storage locker).

Wow. Those prices are a joke for a shoebox in Burnaby.

I just don't get it anymore. Crazy high valuations that are completely divorced from local conditions. I thought that spending 427 on a one-bedroom presale at Escala was high and overvalued.

People are paying $800k+ for a one bedroom resale for Solo 3 based on sales history. Brentwood is catching up to downtown prices and some newer builds are even exceeding it.

Not saying the valuation is justified in anyway but Shape is turning Amazing Brentwood is into a high end mall. Plus Brentwood is much more safe than downtown or Metrotown with all the amenities coming

is the plan for a six storey to replace the automotive place along Dawson? similar to whats across the street? It looks to small and tight for a highrise.
