It must be hard to stack and transport those curved panels without damaging them.
Given the small number of panels on that one flatbed truck, it looks like it'll take a lot of loads and a long process to have them installed.
Aww, but aren't *ALL* the truckers in Ottawa, and other protest locations right now, protesting for freedom or something like that?

RDW989, your Post #876 earlier today got us going

A screen capture from video at 12:11 pm today (everyone are on their lunch break here).
Installing column rebar cages today. (Yesterday completed table-forms for the 19th floor)

Nice, thanks!
How long did you have to wait or return to see the panel hung?

Based on your previous pics, there are steel studs on the back of each panel for hanging.
I wonder how much leeway there would be for allignment?
I also noticed that there's no insulation on the back of the panels, although maybe that could be spray foamed later (?).

The last two pixs are from today (first two yesterday) I went by this morning about 11 and nothing was hung. Went by again about 3 pm and there is was.

Wow this is exciting. Not sure how many of you guys got a chance to see the mock up at Fairmont, but this assembly is going to look pretty amazing.

Thanks for the updates everyone, this is one to watch.

Thanks for the info Florilege . The next lift would be for crane no.1.
If it happens, I will post the view of it from Drake St.

I'm just starting to see the top of the rebar from my condo in Yaletown.
It'll be nice to see it rise.

From the office it also looks as tall as Wellesley Place (next to St, Andrews), but it's hard to take a photo facing south as it's always in shadow.

I promise I won't post the arrival of every panel, but a couple of my pixs from yesterday and today which better show the look (Feb 18 and 19) ...

A worker, prepping to add the third piece, and in place

Other workers, checking them out, yesterday and parts of the crane lift being prepped

And today,

I appreciate the last picture in RDW989 crane lift prep.
It give us a good height estimate of crane no.1 in the skyline, for adjusting my camera's field of view for capturing when I'm not home.

No crane lift today but looks ready to go for Tuesday.

RDW989, I noticed a typo in your last posting. It should read "I promise I will post the..."
Here is my apologetic reassurance..."Sorry folks but I will be posting every crane lift

Does anybody factor in replacement costs, inherent burden and the carbon cost of buildings anymore? Apparently not.
