Really though, there's about to be several hundred thousand square feet more of office space between those two corners (not too mention all new apartments and condos that keep goin up) - I really hope there are some actually affordable, causal lunch and dinner spots that end up nearby. Losing both Chinatown and Maiko is a pretty big loss in more casual Asian food downtown. Pretty much only fancier and fancier spots left. The convention center area doesn't need a casual sushi lounge.
