Not a fan of the grey brick. I wish it was... a colour... any colour. Otherwise, pretty decent looking project for Claridge.

Its a decent project but it is a very dark building the windows are black and there's a lot of black brick

400 Albert next door is going to have quite a bit of white, it will be a nice contrast. Funny, they should have called this project the Dark Side of the Moon, as 400 Albert is actually brighter and more moon-like in appearance

Might be slightly redundant after the last set of photos but I figured I would grab another couple angles.

Genuinely curious to see what they are going to fill in the missing gaps with. Please don't tell me its gonna be grey brick in the black area and black brick in the grey area.... but I have a feeling...

I do like the percentage of glazing covering the building so far. The materials quality and the fit/finish so far is quite good. I know we have a mixed opinion on the design so far but Claridge has definitely moved up a notch on this one in the grand scheme of things.

If they use stainless steel railings on the balconies I think that would really make the building pop? I dunno.. what do you people think?

Railings Between Claridge Plazas and Icon, they've screwed up railings quite a bit. We have to be nervous about every little part of Claridge projects.

Ground level retail

Can't wait till they announce what's coming on the ground floor! Hoping for any grocer at this point.

This project makes a really nice dent in the great wall of Lyon street. I think the flat face of our western skyline might even look worse than the flat-top. Depending on the floor heights Main+Main's 33 storeys should chip away at the flat top too!

seems clearly taller than the Delta/Skyline hotel but the official heights differ-with the delta being noted as a taller structure. maybe its the angle but I drove by it from Albert the other day and Moon seems to be a hair taller.

Another skyline shot displaying Moon's prominence. From this angle, it seems to have the Delta beat by a significant margin.

The old "Skyline Hotel" is barely visible in our skyline nowadays.

its a bit sad that its most prominent facade is its back and from what i can see its clearly gonna look like the back of a building. It adds height but doesn't adds anything to the look of the skyline architecturally.

They always build with the assumption that another tower will go up next door. That's somewhat understandable for the south (Albert) tower, but the north (Queen) tower will never have a direct neighbour.

Doesn't add much architecturaly, but they are a decent filler. Cathedral Hill's unique tower, the elegant The Gardens by Charlesfort and the future M+M should bring enough attention away from Moon.

Trying something different today... I know the picture isn't very "nice", but I only took it to give a comparison in height between Claridge Moon and the Delta.

(please delete if too ugly for this forum )

So you can tell from this angle, that the Moon is indeed taller than the Delta

The Delta is listed at 96m tall. I wonder how we could find out the final height of Moon.
