Not sure where to put this, so feel free to move it. Since there's a correlation to downtown, figured here is good.
"Hamilton has one of Canada's densest downtowns, and nearly all of the new residents are living near the city's core, according to new data from Statistics Canada.
The city grew from 536,917 in 2016 to 569,353 in 2021, the data shows, and it has the fifth densest downtown.
Nearly 70 per cent of those 32,436 new Hamiltonians are no more than 20 minutes away from the core.
Almost 23 per cent of the new residents over the last five years are living fewer than 10 minutes away from the core."
