I think the west side of this building looks good. Pretty nice view from Lake Austin Blvd towards Downtown.

It’s not like my favorite design, but I do feel like this is Austin’s “I am big boy city now tower” it will be very noticeable.

This comment made me laugh. Thank you for that!

i like the east side the most. It's too bad half or so will be blocked from distant view.

Beginning to appear east 6th as it pushes above Indeed tower.

This is currently the tallest building under construction outside of NYC & Chicago.

Isn't the Oceanwide Center in San Francisco currently under construction as well? That one's gonna be over 900ft.

Oceanwide was scrapped very recently. It had been on hold since October 2020.

Correct. That's when I last took pictures of the project

At least they're done with the digging and have cement to ground level, which usually takes a long time in California. It should shoot up when it has a new developer.

There is a new 1000+ft proposed project in SF though. Hopefully all 3 can get built

It looks to be ~542’ which is exactly the same as Indeed.

(Assuming the core is at level 40 and 1’ added to each residential floor)

So that would leave ~333 feet to go... so basically stack Windsor on the Lake (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_ta...in,_Texas#/media/File:Legacy-Dec2008.JPG) or the BoA Tower (black tower on Congress) on top of what we see here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bank_of_America_Center_(Austin,_Texas)

Crazy.

The KXAN tower cam was zoomed in on downtown this morning. You're right about Indeed - just about even from that angle.

Being someone who moved to Austin originally in 1980, that skyline looks amazing. Always wanted to see Austin look like that, and it is only going to get better looking.
