This is a really sharp looking building in person. Materials seem to be high quality. Every viewing angle creates an image slightly different than the one before. Weird cantilevers abound. Good example of what creative design can accomplish, even in shorter heights.

^agreed, i approached this building from the north at an angle i hadn’t before and it is very striking. such a huge boost to the area. if the projects on either side of this get moving, west market is going to feel way more like center city instead of an extended bridge from 30th street.

" . . . an extended bridge from 30th street" <--- That is a really good description of how that stretch of Market Street has always felt. And agreed, this project makes a big difference in changing that feel.

This building is very high quality.

The building has a lot floor space; and when you look at most offices in downtown Philadelphia they only take up half the block; so if this building did the same it would have been well over 500' high.

What amazes me is that this building is very wide; has good floor space and reminds me more of offices in London; very high quality (with exception that now London is building tall buildings now as well.)

Here's hoping the same for the Delaware.

Always amazed at how poorly developed these areas have been and how resistant they are to righting the wrongs of the industrial revolution and the effect they had on river fronts.

The Schuykill has that stupid train track on the east side that will never go away. The Delaware has 95. Big lifts for sure.

While it's certainly not a priority, I always wished the Expressway opening was covered. And maybe a cool mural that says Philadelphia or just simple ivy growing on the sides. Would make for a nice viewing experience from the trail.

I know it's just a rendering but the 30th Street Station District Plan had a boardwalk like structure on the running parallel to the Schuylkill River Trail with connections to Schuylkill Ave.

The Schuylkill River trail is so crowded because of how awesome it is so this would be another great asset. It could easily connect to where MLK river path starts around here:
