I know what a community bike shop is, because I manage the re-Cycles shop here in Ottawa.
Interesting that the folks from Zibi are involved in this project. They do like the idea of a community bike shop, because they originally approached us about possibly relocating to Zibi. That ended up not happening, and we moved ourselves over to Catherine St. instead.
It's possible that the candidate could be our former shop-partners Cycle Salvation. They're still in our old location on Bronson, and were originally going to move out last Fall. (They're still there but I haven't chatted with them recently to find out why.)
