Yes right! Wow. And apart from maybe the Westcorp hotel, most of these projects seem pretty promising in terms of likelihood of going ahead. What a change we could see 5 years from now.

Amazing renderings. It's crazy how from a distance it's starting to "look" like a big city. But these renderings assume all the approved projects will be built right? So for example the Westcorp tower is assumed to be built even though they've been dead since the pandemic started?

That density looks fitting for a city far, far bigger than 200k or whatever the projection is for when they are all supposed to come up (300k even?).

Impressive development. If UBC hits their expected enrollment levels in 10 years I can only imagine the density of housing that will erupt downtown, not that it isn't already happening. Thanks for the updates JayMi!

UBC building in Downtown Kelowna is one of the most bullish indicators I can think of for the Downtown core, and what it will do for population growth and density.

Here is another interesting application dropped off for Downtown. Curious what you guys think about this unique architectural 9 storey building form.

First impression? Umm. Huh? Let's go with a follow up question. Is there a plan for the property to the south which explains 9 levels of blank windowless wall?
