for sure its a tough space.

Out of everyone who has failed I think Straight out of Brooklyn has the best shot and will do well especially factoring in deliveries to the West Side from that location, etc. That alone should help put them over the top.

Bishops has decided to close down and has served their last meal. They thought they had made it through the pandemic and would stay open but a new, greedy landlord tripled the rent. Shame they didn't release the name of the landlord.

I am not interested enough to check the article on the sushi topic but will say that the listing has such weird cities at the top that I am not sure how they measured for this? Like, a totally random Novosibirsk and three Ukrainian cities??

Here you go - I found this in 30 seconds "The honour comes from Chef's Pencil, which analyzed Google Trends to determine which cities had the highest concentration of sushi lovers using the search engine to find their way to anything sushi-related"

Anyone who's visited Ukraine knows the truth of the article and seafood is wildly popular all across Russia (as are Japanese & Korean food of all types)

Sushi is popular here because of the cost. Travelling to other places you get our average quality sushi for like 3x the price. It's insane and I can see how it would be more popular here when you're comparing it to fast food or delivery pizza.

I've noticed two Pizza Huts that had dining rooms are only take out now, the dining rooms are being used for storage by the looks of things. I don't think they were that many dine-in Pizza Huts left.

Also the covid vaccine passport has been extended until the end of June.

It'll be cramped, if that's the case. The restaurant in the building is 3,490 sf, and the patio is only 1,160 sf. Is that big enough for 200 seats and a 30 tap bar, with 100 of the seats outside?
