Their mid-life upgrade was completed ~4 years ago including replacing the main engines and part of the hull (bulbous bow).
Replacement was to be mid 2040s but that’s probably going to be pushed back a bit. COVID has pushed back the first C class replacements at least 5 years.

As for how long to build a ship, the first Coastal Class was in service 3.5 years after ordering.
