If anyone is feeling burnt out or stressed or tired of pandemic or dreading Christmas or anything along those lines... Ottawa is looking very colorful at the moment. Or maybe you just want to stretch your legs, a lap around the market and Sparks will be a great chance to enjoy the balmy weather this week.

I must remember to clean the lens on my phone camera... botched a pair of nice shots of the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the National Gallery

Nice! So glad to have been inside the HoC "terminal" before everything shut down.

Great pic. Moon has quite an impact on the skyline. Can't wait to see the M+M (and Rimap) towers go up.

Don't forget the tower currently going up next to Cathedral Hill, which would probably block one of the Moon towers from this vantage point!

Agreed. All those mentioned projects + everything going up on Bronson and Lebreton Flats will change this area for the better. Same goes for the Tunney's skyline.

This view will look amazing in about 10-15 years.

From Radio-Canada. Zibi making an impact on the Quebec side skyline.

From Radio-Canada as well, the Dale looks so close to downtown in this shot.

Cool shot with some Byward Market construction in the foreground looking towards Parliament in Ottawa this morning, courtesy of u/poopitydoopityboop on Reddit.

That’s a sweet shot.

Last weekend I went for an old fashioned drive around the inner city and was amazed at the amount of cranes in the sky right now. They’re everywhere. I’m born and raised here and I can’t recall another time with this amount of activity.

I've been out trying to update the forum with current pictures of every project in the city and I can barely keep up, cranes are sprouting up faster than I can get around to them!

The view off the city and parliament hill from Galeries de Hull is one of the best in the entire region... That said, I really hope that the new Gatineau hospital will hide this view in the near future!!!
