Is that vacant parcel of land South of the Baker Clinic still vacant and the possible site for the "addition"?

^That would be a different address then. My guess is they're doing some work to the entrance or facade.

A significant transaction for South Downtown/McKay Avenue with considerable redevelopment opportunities.

*believe that the purchaser was Mainstreet.

Pricey and mid-level finishes in the bathrooms, divisive location and soft market paired with significant cost overruns.

Anyone know what is being built at Hillside Estates? It looks like either more levels of parking or a new roof top floor above the parkade for amenity space?

From what I heard...

They were putting a new HVAC unit on top of their parkade roof and it lead to a failure of the concrete.

Hearsay, but plausible.

Some very positive news from Service Alberta today.

We have been working with them alongside groups like BILD, CHBA etc. to address 50+ working day delays on new condominium registrations.

^Great to hear, critical it gets started for that area/warehouse park.

Westrich before Council tomorrow to amend their 106 street site to allow 10 years of parking. That doesn't give me confidence they have any plans to move forward there at all.

In an effort to turn the area around the city is trying to incentivize development with the central park and LRT extension and Westrich is still willing to leave that as a dirt parking lot for up to 10 years. That is not a confidence booster for the area at all when developers are planning 5+ years out which ties in conjunction with the expected completion of the park and LRT.
