Boo. I was really looking forward to an orange crane.

The site's definitely getting really busy and impressive as I was there few weeks ago.

I was at the Home Depot yesterday and the west side podium is already few floors above the ground. Things are progressing quickly and how massive this project is going to be is becoming evident.

This site is very reminiscent of Vancouver House when it was still u/c. The scale and complexity of it all is a bit mind boggling.

Private indoor and outdoor amenities for residences of over 75,000 SF is probably the largest in the province too

I see this everyday.

The crews work non stop.

And it shows in the progress, its moving ahead incredibly rapid for the scale that it is.

Its well above ground, and even above the Skytrain platform, which is mind blowing considering the depth of the pit.

Agreed that this is moving very fast. Am I correct in understanding that there are altogether three towers under construction right now?

Yes all three towers are being constructed at the same time. Each tower will be done a few months apart from each other. It's amazing how fast construction is going.

This project is really impressive on several fronts.

Everything from the size and scale, the pace of construction, the complexity of the engineering (to work around the Skytrain guideways).

It's going to look really great when its done and act as an imposing gateway to the Brentwood Town Center.

10 levels below grade for Phase 1?

7 levels of underground parking, & 3 atypical levels extending approximately 32 m below current site grades (total of 10 underground levels)

Some bicycle Nazi causing gray hair for the construction. Where else are concrete trucks supposed to park for unloading, on the roadway? This bike lane sees one cyclist in an hour this time of year, so City of Burnaby shouldn't be replying and catering to individuals to the detriment of hundreds.

There should be no bike along Lougheed to begin with and this Nazi can take Central Valley Greenway like everyone else.

You sure like to throw around the word Nazi.

If this were a sidewalk or a car lane it would need to be marked and alternate arrangements made.
