Hi, we actually received a site instruction to not power the light strip permanently. They only allowed us to power it for a couple of hours for testing.

Apparently, Reliance would like to have this lit up during the opening of the building. I presume that media will be present.

Please don't make the same mistake as many other projects have done to have the lighting on at full brightness through the night. That tends to garner the wrong kind of media attention and may lead into complains to turn it off completely. See Telus Garden and Davie Safeway.

The fixture is programmable to change light colours, patterns, and intensity.
I reckon if the developer receive complaints, they can just lower the brightness instead of completely turning it off

Oh man, Towerguy3. That takes me back.

Imagine if we were to go back and find out everything they predicted came true? We had an incredibly well-connected industry leaker or a time traveler in our midst all that time.

Up to level 35 was supposed to be end of September and then the rest of the building in Q1 2022

Nice!

Still one layer to go.
I'll bet they wish they had simplified it.

The inner 2 are so unnecessary. They could've paid for curved glass for the rest of the curved facades
