Based on recent developments, I thought this is where Aylmer people like to live, work and play? Why would you want to go to Westboro when you have world-class development all around you?

Ouch! If Westboro had the same house square footage and land spaceI have in Aylmer, it would be going for between 1.5 to 2 million. So for an extra 5 minute drive, I don't mind living in Aylmer and get the access to both QC and Ottawa (versus those who live out in Orleans, Barrhaven and Kanata).

But, Aylmer still has a lot to grow and it is missing alot.

It's a hidden gem that has a range of small businesses opening up in Old Aylmer, but they continously need support. They need more development to support these commercial businesses

Dude, there was supposed sports complex planned to be there as well, but the city councillors voted against it - including the one lady running for mayor for Gatineau who is a tree hugger and supposedly puts families first. Pictures are great, but councillors ruin the progress of these areas with their own agendas
