Lots of action in that

I missed capturing another crane lift. I'll have the camera rolling (when I'm out) for next little while, maybe crane no. 2 will be on the rise soon.

I'm really annoyed by how they changed the scoop-outs at the base to the latest triangulated pattern, which is way too loud and undermines the geometry of the scoops. Much preferred the old design, which related better to the curved outline. Wasn't the original concept something akin to organ pipes as a reference to the attached church?

Here's what the model shows.
I'm not sure why the slab edge is zig-zagged in the construction pics.
Could be for the post-tension cabling and then they'll be smoothed out (but the lowerest level looks finsihed with the zig-zag.

Seems like they dumped those curved vision glass for a lattice with that zig-zag cut out. Personally I prefer the new version.
