How about that Canada-Panama game wow.

I am definitely going to the November games in Edmonton. Really hope there will be a strong attendance, the team needs our support and we have to show up Toronto!!

Just to see the Mexicans freeze on the field will be fun.

would be a good way to prove we deserve a 2026 game or 2 if we get a good crowd.

So, Trevor Harris traded. Good move or bad? I figured when I saw him in street clothes Friday that either he or the coach would be out soon. Didn't realize HOW soon.

TSN Radio this morning has eluded to vaccination status playing an unofficial role, despite management stressing it was a 'football decision'.

^ If the Elks are still under 85% vaccinated and Harris was a part of that 15% then certainly a problem in the dressing room and for management.

Probably a combination of the two. His inconsistency was frustrating at the very least. Is one home win this year too much to ask for?

Promising Oilers season so far. So far so good for the new acquisitions. Hopeful it'll provide the depth we need in the playoffs.

The games at Commonwealth "The event organizer is requiring that all attendees of this event receive a privately-paid negative COVID-19 diagnostic test within 72 hours prior to entry to the event or must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19."

What type of test and where to get downtown? Where to get this to watch the games and what cost?

The Elks had a company doing rapid tests on site for $40. I know they usually go for $50 in a lot of other places. I don't know about the soccer games.

Oops I did not read carefully - we have vaccine certificates from out of Canada (one of us from the USA with the CDC card and the other from Mexico - both Pfizer) and they are acceptable to Canada so will be in our ArriveCAN app and the Canadian Vaccine App if the Feds release it before we get back to Canada.

Pre-Sales tomorrow at 10am Edmonton time. Does that mean having a promo code? Otherwise Friday for regular sales.

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Oilers are pleased to announce that the club will host Indigenous Celebration Night on Monday, Nov. 1 as the Pacific Division rival Seattle Kraken make their first-ever regular season visit to Rogers Place.

To commemorate this celebration of culture and the creativity of the Indigenous communities of Northern Alberta, the Oilers have collaborated with designer and artist Lance Cardinal of Bigstone Cree Nation to create a special logo that will be incorporated into Monday's game presentation and other future initiatives as the team looks to deepen its connection with the Indigenous communities of Oil Country.

The logo, which features a stylized Oilers mark incorporated into the body of a turtle and highlighted by eagle feathers, represents creation, wisdom and spirituality with surrounding colours blue, green, gold and white all culturally significant to the Cree people. The turtle is a reference to Turtle Island, the land mass upon which all 32 NHL teams compete. Additional Indigenous artwork will also be included in various elements of Monday's game presentation.

Tonight's game was a good reminder of why we need Smith back/an NHL goaltender.

MK's puck awareness, angles, lateral movement and overall skill is simply not good enough.
