Building across Home Hardware.

Very close to Mountain road.

Construction site for Burger King/KFC I believe on Homestead road across from Micky D's. Traffic lights still not operational.

Nice pics. That's not a Harveys though. That's going to be a Burger King/KFC combo store.

You would think that they would finish the Mountain road faces first to make it more appealing but who am I to say.

Halo Donuts is opening a second location in that new commercial building behind the RBC on the north side of Mountain Road at Gorge.

This should be wildly popular in the neighbourhood!

Between Halo and Second Cup, I won't be able to keep my wife away from there.

Smart move on their part. I've gone to the one on St. George, and there's always been a line-up outside the building. I think the one in the north end will be very successful.

According to this leasing plan for the Plaza Boulevard Centre, it appears that Mezza Lebanese Kitchen will be opening up in the CRU formerly occupied by lole

Given the McLaughlin Place location (opening November 1st), and an announced Dieppe location (construction card just found today on CCD Canada), this third location in the Plaza Boulevard Centre likely means that a Riverview location won't be in the offing.

Formerly, the rumour was for three Mezza locations in Moncton, Riverview and Dieppe. These plans were already very ambitious. If the Riverview location is now a Moncton North location, then it would be very hard to imagine a fourth location in Riverview, at least not right away.

Lordon, a new clothing boutique is opening at 1612 Mountain Road (which I think is in Hildegarde Place, where Bella Promessa used to be before it moved to the Higgins Block downtown).

According to the T&T, the new Halo Donuts at Mountain and Gorge will open in January. They plan to have a full bakery on site, and will be making products for both locations from there.

Fresh donuts!

Krispy Kreme would be cheaper so if they ever do come they will still have competition, but Tim's donuts are garbage so I would pay the extra for Halo any day

Forms are poured for the new Burger King/KFC Combo and great progress on the retaining wall.

Also the lights at that same corner beside Mickey D's

Renovations are ongoing at the former Archway Insurance location in Valhalla Place on Mountain Road.

If you peer through the window, you can see a digger being used to tear up the concrete floor, probably for plumbing. It leads one to believe the renovations are for a new QSR/takeout of some form.

Rumour is that Casino NB will finally completely reopen in early 2022 (including the buffet, poker tables and the spa). The rest of the facility reopened earlier in 2021.

Lady Ada project. Photo with long lens from the parking lot behind the old Costco. I attempted to get drone shots, but the whole area is restricted by McEwens air field, which is well beyond the 4.8km restriction from Transport Canada.

Your photo of The Vizion under construction on Lady Ada also shows where they cleared all the trees earlier this year to allow for future development.

The Charles Lutz road traffic lights still need to be calibrated properly. They don't let Mountain road vehicle advance long enough. The switch seems to be set at 20 seconds when it should let Mountain road traffic flow for at lease a minute before interruption. This leads to road rage and unsafe behavior.
