Nice, thanks!

I wonder if the change to the roofline was to match a change in their Macbook design?
(since the roof is supposed to look like a Macbook?)

You assume with the soffit/roof that it will hide this edge but then that weird finished roof they applied around the edges makes me wonder.

They said the roof would be stainless steel finish metal panels with oak veneer wood clear stained soffits.

Are they doing a sharp corner now instead of a rounded radius? It seems like the glazing panel is where the corner is supposed to be since the edge touches the diagonal roof brace - or that's not the edge piece

Maybe the sharp roof corner was to match a change in the corner glazing pieces

They didn't want the roof to extend over the sidewalk?

They updated the Pacific Centre directory map and it includes the "Apple Store" instead of the rotunda

I'll bet that's it!
Thanks.

It would be a shame if the glass on the facade didn't have curved corners. I doubt that design element would be changed.

By me today:

Sides and corners (rounded or squared off?) to go.
Could be squared off as that last front panel comes right to the diagonal brace above.

This is what the Apple Store in Mexico looked like around that section.

There should be one curved panel. Then a second straight one where the doors go. And it seemed like the glass wall extended right to where that bulkhead/wall is.

Also in some of your bird eyes view shots of the project it seems like there's something curved on the ground where the window should go?

Thanks.

You're right.
The side wall must not line up with the steel beam above.
(ie more overhang in front than on the sides)

It looks like they are installing some flat panels (from the view of the traffic camera)

By me today just now.

That's curved glass on the flatbed.
I see some sort of a curved frame/rack on the sidewalk.

Looks like they covered the trailer with plastic and opened the sidewalk so maybe they didn't have time with the rain to complete the installation.

I took these pics around 3:00 PM.

I was by there again around 5:00 and the curved glass was still on the flatbed.

Yeah it's still parked there. They might have a window later in the day when it stops raining.

From the traffic camera it seems like they managed to install the curved glass on the Howe Street side.

The street is still blocked off so I guess they plan on installing the last two windows this weekend.
