That's what I suspected. Makes total sense and honestly not a bad change at all tbh.

There's also a high speed rail alignment cutting across the 360 N Green site, so I'm guessing the city urged them to modify their plans as well and reduce the building footprint.

Hopefully the Taller and slightly thinner office building becomes the trend with the expectation that office tenant doesn't want large floor plates as much anymore but would rather have more boutique space

Fascinating how quickly trends can change. 2 years ago, Merchandise Mart and OPO footprints were in high demand because entire workforces can be on the same floor.

Strange they didn't include "The Porch" project next door considering it's a Sterling Bay project. Here's some views along with some others in the West Loop.

^ Outstanding how 400 ft is the new norm when a few years ago a 200 ft tower was considered an outlier

Gensler has new renderings for their developments in Cabrini Green. 1,058 mixed-income units for Clybourn/Larabee (U/C) and Division/Halsted (proposed)

It is hard to keep track of everything that is U/C or proposed since the first page of this thread stopped getting updated. Does anyone have any idea where I could find a full list of everything that is currently in the works?

One of the forum members has been keeping this up to date. It has 345 Morgan U/C which just started pretty recently.

I'd have to do a little digging to remember who.

So this is under construction now?? Or did they just fill in the hole. I'm guessing the latter. :/
