Ottawa doesn't have much of a skyline, but is certainly starting to build a decent cityscape.

I've always found Ottawa to be extremely sleepy and underwhelming; especially for a national capital. Things finally started changing for the better about 6-7 years ago. There have been significant investments in PT, they're added much needed density, and predictably, more amenities are springing up to service the higher population in these neighbourhoods. Ottawa will need another 20+ years before it starts coming together but they're certainly heading in the right direction. Ottawa has made huge strides thus far.

There's no reason Ottawa can't become as vibrant and urban as Amsterdam/Stockholm one day.

Ottawa CBD and Escarpment District. With strict height restrictions, it's relatively rare to see new buildings make an impact on the skyline. The two Claridge Moon towers (27 fl) over Lyon Station manage to do so. An approved project the next block behind (23, 29, 35 fl) will have the greatest impact once it's built, and with amazing architecture to boot.

So many layers in those Montreal photos. Not sure if it’s the depth perception of the photos but the wind turbines look really close to the city. I’m surprised that would be allowed. Honestly think it looks a little unsightly from that angle.
