Hope that the name is an indication they might save Amaya's/integrate it into the new project - was a favorite lunch stop for my colleagues at the old Men's Wearhouse in Lincoln Village/The Linc going way back before my time. Amazing to see how much that area has changed and continues to, I got lost the last time I was around the ACC/Linc area gawking at all the new development.

Yes, good find dilliam! It would go on top of the Amaya's restaurant that JollyvilleJ-Rad referenced. Here is the streetview:
Even if both, that's a pretty skinny footprint. Less than a quarter of a block.
It appears that this site won't be redeveloped anytime soon. A new ping-pong bar called "Smash ATX" is going to take over the Spin space: https://www.smashatx.com/
I get the impression that this will be locally owned and have better food. (Spin's food was nothing to write home about.) Hopefully they execute well and ends up as an improvement.
Apartments on W 17th and Rio Grande under contract and may be demolished.
Really sad. Know so many people who have lived there and still do. So few cool funky places left.... especially the part that use to be the hospital ! I hope good forces prevail and developers are tempered. At least keep the hospital part.
