Looking at the cones in front of the Kanaal building, looks like 4 trees will be planted in front, with a planter for shrubs or flowers near the west end of the plaza.

I'm pretty sure the cones are where the poles are going for the Light string

Thats an interesting concept. If they actually move they can probably put them all together and make a stage for small concert out of it.

I was there yesterday, and those things are solid piles of wood weighing a ton. It would take something like a tractor to forklift to move them.

Very cool! I thought maybe they were on wheels in the track - now those square corners could pose a problem for children...

They are actually on wheels sitting on train tracks but i think there is a lock mechanism. They definitely cant be moved easily, probably for the best

I was there today, my friend was able to get one to move slightly through jumping on it the right way, just barely, massively heavy.

There is a stopper bolt on each wheel. Can be re-arranged if needed. Good solution I guess.

Wood quality is not great but on the bright side, it can be easily repaired with 2x4s from Home Depot.

They were taking the construction lift down on them south side of the new office building yesterday. I am looking forward to seeing the rest of the panels getting installed on the south exposure.
