That's really unfortunate as it was one of our staple destination places and one that many of us thoroughly enjoyed.

Here's hoping someone replaces them with something similar.

Metro Billiards hosted celebrities such as Roger Waters, Justin Bieber, 🞵🞵🞵🞵 & Roses and Sum 41. I somehow doubt the new west end location will be the same. Poor old Roger will be so disappointed when he comes back to town next year, especially given that Metro is just a few blocks away from Rogers Place.

that is indeed unfortunate... I've had a few good times there over the years

doubt we'll see a replacement tho... the fact that the business is moving, and not going under tells me there's been some conflicts between the regulars and players, and the 'casual' customers

not sure who'd want to repeat that?

it's too bad that rental trio on the block north didn't go through, it likely would have prevented this

^Ya, my guess is many regulars aren't necessarily from Downtown (but who knows), parking lot is always full so it's a bit of destination. Sad to loose it, likely Banquet at ICE District will have pool tables but probably not the same. Will be a hard space to fill.
