Here's a recent shot of Salt Lake City showcasing the giant blemish that is the Block 40 parking lot. SLC has huge 10-acre blocks (660' square) and, among other things, this one used to have a beautiful hotel and a well-known music venue before being razed in the 1980s and left as a parking lot. Nowadays it acts as a pedestrian barrier that unofficially delineates downtown's south terminus.

On the flip side, the redevelopment potential of this block is massive given its location and transit access, so I look forward to seeing what is proposed here in the near future.

Downtown SF should be divided, the classic SF downtown and newly-developing SF citycenter, with no mixture

Oh Lord...from Niagara Falls??? I'm always konwing they can see each other but at such close range? Well I am an educated man so I must say you have the best zoom-in lens and stablest tripod of all time, plus the clearest weather condition.

With the naked eye, you can barely make out Toronto from there.
