It's planned to become an event space as part of a new development:

Has there ever been a decent (recent) pano of Edmontons skyline from this angle showing how far it stretches west to east?

^ That second photo is amazing.

Not sure whether this has been posted in this thread yet or not, but a frame from a drone video showing Calgary's Mission and Beltline neighborhoods:

^Damn!

If I didnt know any better I'd say that's the skyline of a city of at least 3-4 million.

And Griffintown has sure filled out.

Yeah, it looks about as urban as Minneapolis, which is a much larger metro area.

^No kidding.

A recent pic of Denver's skyline with double the population of Calgary. Looks like Edmonton circa 2010.

I always thought the Wellignton Destructor was part of the old Slaughter House.

Wow, one of the widest angles of the skyline I've seen. It's not "cheating" either like some of the ones from the west where you can chain the Mississauga and Humber Bay skyline together with Downtown Toronto.

The telephoto compression does still "cheat" things a bit. Yonge & Eglinton and even NYCC to an extent appear to be directly adjacent to the main downtown skyline there.

^ That's a surprisingly rare view considering that it's pretty nice.

Love those Edmonton skylines above, that first one in particular is one of the best I've ever seen!
