Meanwhile a sign for a "pad site opportunity" has been put up on the former Fire Department training site diagonally across from this property. It would be nice to see some more retail/food businesses set up shop in the area so I'm hoping (re)development of these properties proceeds quickly.

Telegraph journal is saying a residential development is coming for this property. I don’t have a subscription so I don’t know the details.

Nope- commercial and the same developer as Jean Coutu. Residential project is 660 Millidge Ave.

Confusingly, the SNB Property Assessment Online app shows the commercial project at PAN 06327696 (55 University) to already be part of the JC lot.

And lastly, 661 Millidge is what's being converted to self storage by the same developer as 660, who bought both for $2.5M.

I might be wrong but there's another article about the rezoning that took place by the JC and that's where the build-to-suit commercial signage is. By process of elimination, and since the other lot and the commercial building were bought together, I think I'm right.

Rectory at 54 Broad is listed. If they get their asking price of $260K, which is not unreasonable, they scored a church for $165K.

184 new units 'created', I assume this means are occupied/finished, double the 5 year average. '13 projects with 500 new units planned'. Do we know all of them?

Council agenda has the Catholic Church making some big moves. Zoning change requests for 39 Cliff (stakes in the ground earlier this year, per earlier on the thread) from Community to Urban Center Residential (mixed commercial and residential), and across Waterloo from 110-128 on the corner of Richmond, the same rezoning, but for a mixed supportive housing/commercial project.

Toss is the studio involved. That's a TON of vacant land.

That's 9 plus presumably 91 King and the Landmark (maybe not- still very much in early stages). Still two or three missing. Maybe the Church projects on Waterloo are a component. Possibly they're counting the Rockingstone subdivision over west, or whatever it's called these days.

This is in my neighborhood. I am pleased with the location and skyline view from East side areas is great. I walk my dog through the property often and watch the progress daily. Their website is excellent, I know of some people who have already reserved a unit. Anxiously waiting for finish and occupancy.
