Great project. That area went from a sea of empty/parking lots to developers having to wedge buildings into the last available odd-shaped properties. Meanwhile, over the same time, we still have prime locations down the street in Center City proper like 15th and Race unchanged.

It’s so bizarre to me that 15th and Race has remained vacant for so long. It’s in a prime location and is large enough to support a supertall.

I assume Parkway owns it, unfortunately, which is why it will remain a parking lot until the end of time.

I can't tell if there are balconies on the North side, that would be great if there are.

The project is alright, glad to see the parking lot go, but the façade materials look really cheap, per usual.

A utilitarian design I think is fine here. It's in a difficult and ugly part of town with the highway and busy streets. It's not ugly and doesn't really stand out, so it's fine. It won't be very visible from many places anyway and the density is good.

The height and density are decent for the area. I wish it was 15-20 floors but 13 is still solid! The design is mediocre but i gotta say, i love the colors, and the glass wall looks pretty cool. If only the ramps could be removed and buildings could take that spot over:/

Not bad. Wish they could get rid of that stupid little jut out on the 15th Street side. It would probably looking better without that. Lower that portion to 3-stories, and then add another floor or two on top of the section of the building fronting Callowhill.

Westy's Bar & Grill future development?

Excuse me if this has been brought up before, but I just happened to notice on Pg. 8 of the CDR package for this proposal that the 3-story building at 15th & Callowhill Streets, which houses the Westy's, indicates it will have 44 units developed in its future.

The question is, does this mean demolition and a subsequent new tower or an overbuild. I'm leaning towards demolition (with hopefully Westy's moved to a temporary location) and a new build with first floor commercial and Westy's can then return. Does anyone have any information?

TERRIBLE. does not communicate with its surroundings AT ALL.

I hope CDR tears it apart and embarrasses it’s presenters.
