I didn't mind the height as it was going to work with the larger Granville project, but then again I will never say no to some extra height.

I wasn't too big on this design as it felt it could use more flare / pizzazz for it's location. Also, i hope if there is a future iteration that architects played with different materials / colour palette than all the green glass / seafoam in the immediate vicinity (the telus tower etc.)

Given the track record of the developer, it's just as likely to be developed as a single storey double height retail building.

Yes, this would unironically be a better scenario than the existing plan which would entail a substantial net loss of retail space on the region's main shopping street.

I was thinking that for promotional purposes, strata office purchasers may shy away from a design that looks suceptible to earthquake damage.

Actually it does look like something is going on. There used to be a 3 sided sign, and they took the outside sides off which I believe described the specifics of the proposal/offering.
