Re-opened renovated Craft Beer Market looks great. Roof patio improved imo, and second floor games. Off-sale cooler just as you walk in.

I almost might prefer Edmonton's over Calgary (size and more open air) or Vancouver's (beach).

Tang Bistro (https://www.tangbistro.ca) today for lunch and it did not disappoint. Truly one of Edmonton's hidden gems for flavour, value and service.

Liang-pi (cold noodle) with Sesame Sauce, Celery and beancurd with Garlic Sauce.

岐山臊子 Mount. Qi with pork soup (hot & sour)/ greenbean/ back fungus/ egg/ chive + 刀削面Sliced noodle

香芋卷 Deep fried taro roll

I thought Jack's was also going into one of the retail spaces at Muttart Crossing. They won the $100,000 prize to open there.

They pulled out last year - I think concerns over committed to more space during COVID.

Can someone please remind me what will open at Muttart Crossing if Jack's has pulled out? The $100,000 prize needs to be given to someone else.

They were in discussions with runners up and others... but unsure where it landed, if anywhere.

Alberta BBQ Collective operating 'Coals and Cleavers' pop-up behind Freemason's Hall every Friday, 5-10pm and Saturday 12-8pm. Great food on Friday, local beers. Even got a quick tour of the hall.

I hope it is a KEG. Maybe it is too small for that though?
