I think somewhere in Midtown possibly near the High Museum makes more sense because it's more of our arts and culture district with the High, Woodruff Per, MODA, The Fox Theatre, Center for Puppetry Arts and SCAD. The Centennial Park area attractions are too much of a mish-mash without a cohesive thread to them, and to the previous poster's point, the area is becoming too skewed to a single use and has created a dead zone now with everything closed. If/when CNN moves to Techwood in five years, this area is going to be quite different.
I chose COP over Midtown because once Centennial Yards is built out and the city's new downtown ordinance
(allowing huge digital billboards in the COP and Fairlie Popular area) gets fully going,
the area will have a very urban vibe due to the eclectic mix of attractions.
Downtown needs all the help it can get...
Pre-Covid, the "newly renovated" COP area had an international vibe every time I rode my bike through regardless of the time of day.
I can imagine it being really active in the future.

Hey folks it looks like we may have a blowout here.
25 days have passed and it looks like downtown's COP has opened up an insurmountable lead with Midtown a distant 2nd.
I guess it's a wrap... until the real renderings come out.
