The Trillist Companies, which is not a party to the bankruptcy filing, developed a 245-unit apartment project called Yoo on the Park, located on 13th Street near Piedmont Park. At the beginning of 2020, the company proposed a 46-story, 544-foot tower on a small parking lot between Peachtree Street and Crescent Avenue.

Leventhal has been entangled since February in a vicious legal battle in federal court in Miami with his business partner at Trillist, Joseph Kavana. Both are 50% owners of Trillist. Kavana served as the company's chairman, according to a court filing.

^^^^Sad, That would have been a refreshingly unique looking building. Kinda reminds me a little of this building on 4th/Peachtree that I wish (if Wishes were horses Opus would be built

WOULD have been. Dead isn't it? Are these the same project with a bit of changes? Trillist still has this as an active project.

They're not the same project, but they're located across Crescent Street from each other and were designed to complement each other. Funnily enough, I thought the SLS hotel (the one you posted) had been declared dead, while 1138 Peachtree (the residential tower in the other images) was still technically on the table, though there's been little movement on it lately.

Yes. That one is for sure dead. Trillist put the site up for sale. I don't remember if there was any news of the sale. I would imagine that Selig would have been quick to make an offer.

Would be nice!! And they need to propose more on the other surface parking lots and near Miami Circle. Lindbergh has a lot of potential, if they’d adopt better land use/urban design.

Student housing developer secures construction financing for 31-story Midtown tower
