Stage 2 West progress, from Watson. First two are Algonquin Station. The third I assume is the Parkway or Byron tunnel. Fourth looks like the Holly Acres overpass.

Oh interesting. Certainly looks like a bridge move. I noticed last week people are driving over the new 'adjacent' bridge at Moodie, which looked exactly the same as this one, so I figured the same would happen at Pinecrest.

Given this new imaging at Pinecrest, what's the deal with Moodie? Are they just going to permanently re-route the road over the new bridge? Or build yet another bridge to keep the road alignment?

At first, I wasn't sure what exactly they were building there but, over the last few weeks, it became much more obviously a road segment with a tunnel underneath. Is it moved into place yet? Is Pinecrest closed all week?

Pinecrest is supposed to be closed through to the 30th.

Agreed, let's go Theresa Kavanagh....whoever you are.

It might be that this project actually stradles two wards and Rick Chiarelli is keeping a low profile these days for some reason

So many interesting smaller projects along the length of the LRT that nerds like us need constant updates!

I am surprised Kavanagh isn't giving us more. She's usually pretty engaged. Chiarelli at least tweeted about the shut-down, which is more than I expected.

I'm sure we'll at least see something once it's done.

Moodie is being done half and half, rather than a slide in like this one.

I thought maybe they would get innovative and build a temporary bridge to route traffic around the new bridge section to be built, and then...hear me out... USE the temporary bridge as the station platform. Sure it would require some re-levelling to create flat surfaces, etc., but its a massive concrete structure. Perfect for a future station platform entrance

Well it is a lot easier to bombard twitter than it is to answer emails from residents.
